Mizuna grows very well in both Terraseed Classic^TM and in Terraseed Excel^TM under protection and outside. Crops grown outside have some protection from pollen beetle that hibernate in the soil below the seedmat, but not from those that invade from other brassica crops.

Seeds are line sown in rows that are 7.5cm apart at between 500 and 1000 seeds / m².
