Terraseed Excel^TM allows crops to grow below the plastic upper layer. The crop lifts the plastic as it grows, thus forming a 'cloche' effect. The plastic layer is then removed before harvest, the lower tissue layer remains intact and is incorporated with the crop residue.

Terraseed Excel^TM is used for conventional crops only. It is supplied in two standard widths of 1.5 and 1.9 metres with either 8, 12 or 18 rows.

The rolls are made in lengths to suit field dimensions to a maximum length of 250m.

Terraseed Excel^TM is made from recyclable plastic which is removed before harvest.

The plastic is UV tranparent to maximise the light passing through.

The top layer can either be removed just before harvest, which leaves the crop very soft or removed earlier so that the crop hardens to improve shelf life.
