 Multileaf lettuce is a new concept that combines the benefits of babyleaf with whole head production. The crop is generally transplanted at about 40 plants /m2 and harvested mechanically with very low wastage and high yield. Terraseed ClassicTM is now being used to sow these crops, which halves the establishment cost with only a two week loss in time to harvest.
