Pak Choi

crops_pakchoi_00Pak Choi is best grown in Terraseed ClassicTM under protection as either a babyleaf or as a whole head crop. seed is very expensive and so Terraseed are making a seeder to allow the precision placement of naked seed.

Seeds are line-sown or precision placed at between 7.5 and 15cm rows at between 100 and 500 seeds / m2.

 
Mizuna

crops_mizuna_00Mizuna grows very well in both Terraseed ClassicTM and in Terraseed ExcelTM under protection and outside. Crops grown outside have some protection from pollen beetle that hibernate in the soil below the seedmat, but not from those that invade from other brassica crops.

Seeds are line sown in rows that are 7.5cm apart at between 500 and 1000 seeds / m2.
